Some style guides, such as the Chicago Manual of Styleare quite flexible and cover both parenthetical and note citation systems. These may be referred to as citation formats as well as citation styles. A number of organizations have created styles to fit their needs; consequently, a number of different guides exist. Individual publishers often have their own in-house variations as well, and some works are so long-established as to have their own citation methods too:

A commonly-used subset of Chicago is called Turabian after its most noted editor. The Georgia Tech campus has a site license to a very full-featured bibliographic management software called EndNote. We have information on EndNote under the "EndNote" tab. The "other citation software" tab has links to other software you may use to format your bibliographies.
Some of them are web-based, so you can access your bibliography from anywhere on the web, and some of them are easier to use then EndNote and may be simpler to use for a short bibliography. Be sure to note the information on plagiarism.
